The Frisco Lunar New Year Festival is located at Simpson Plaza in front of City Hall at 6101 Frisco Square Blvd, Frisco TX 75036. Please note, Google Maps pulls up the wrong location across the street at FC Dallas soccer fields. However, Apple Maps pulls up the correct location in front of City Hall.

The Frisco Lunar New Year is hosted by the Frisco Asian Community Engagement Committee, a group of dedicated volunteer Asian leaders. The event is completely volunteer-run, with all proceeds benefiting the Frisco Education Foundation.

The 2025 Frisco Lunar New Year festival drew in nearly 4.000 attendees. We anticipate more than 5,000 attendees for the 2026 festival!

You can expect lots of family-friendly fun! You'll enjoy a Cultural Fashion show, Lion Dance, K-pop dancers, face painting, balloon artists, Chinese calligraphy, lantern crafts, and performers representing different Asian cultures and more! You'll also enjoy a street market with local vendors for food, drink, and merch for purchase!

The event begins at 3pm and will include Lion Dancers for the Opening Ceremony. There will be a Cultural Fashion show in the late afternoon and cultural performances following, concluding at 8pm.

We are excited to have the Lion Dancers join us again this year! They will be performing at the opening ceremony, so make sure to come see them!

No tickets or purchase necessary to attend! This event is FREE admission and family-friendly! We encourage you to purchase food, drink, and items at the street market to support our local vendors.

Yes, pets are welcome! All dogs must be on a leash, and owners must accept all responsibility for their dog's behavior.

We will have security on site but there is no bag policy.
